1. What does an Emulsion do?
Emulsions provide many of the same benefits as creams but in a lighter, more fluid texture. They’re designed to lock in moisture and seal in the hydration and nutrients from your essence and serums.

2. When should I use the Cooling Clarity Emulsion?
After cleanse, toner and serum, use the Cooling Clarity Emulsion. If your skin needs additional hydration, you can top up another layer of moisturiser or facial oil.

3. What is the difference between an emulsion and moisturiser? Are they the same?
An emulsion is a lightweight, water-based lotion that provides quick hydration and absorbs easily, while a moisturiser is richer and helps seal in moisture to keep the skin soft and protected. Both serve the same step in your skincare routine. If you have combination or oily skin, an emulsion may be a better fit, whereas normal to dry skin types may benefit more from a moisturiser such as our Bakuchiol Skydew Cloud Moisturizer.

4. I have been using the Cooling Clarity Emulsion but my skin still feels dry, what should I do?

If your skin still feels dry after using the emulsion, it likely needs more moisture. Try layering a richer moisturiser or facial oil on top to lock in hydration and better protect your skin barrier.
